MERIBEL CELEBRATES 70 YEARS
NEW SPA IN MERIBEL
Last year marked the opening of the Fitness and Well-being area in the Olympic Centre and this year will see the project completed with the addition of a spa and massage area. Now Meribel offers great skiing throughout the Trois Vallees and great relaxation off the slopes with the latest equipment including massaging chairs, massaging beds, a relaxation room and a balneotherapy bath.
IMPROVEMENTS TO SKI LIFTS
With one of the best ski areas on offer it is imperative that the lifts also be updated and iproved to provide the best possible skiing experience. This year Meribel have updated the Tougnette1 gondola lift with 54 new cabins. The new cabins seat six people and offer new anti-vibration technology for a greater level of comfort. The mid-station has also been completely renovated and now offers panoramic views of the surrounding piste.
This year flexiski recommend spending your ski break at the Chalet Leonardo. Built in 1994 on the site of a 19th century farmhouse in a secluded, residential corner of Meribel close to a good selection of local bars and restaurants.
