What To Do When Visiting Oahu

Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places you can find on planet Earth, and of all the islands, Oahu is probably by far the most interesting for someone who's not a native to visit. The fresh air, the scenic sunrises and sunsets, and the stunning weather is sufficient reason right there to warrant the commercial flight ticket and the time off of work. Hawaii is one of the gratest places to just kick back and relax. But what if you need to stay going the whole time? Oahu is the busiest island in Hawaii, and it has a large assortment of things to do for people of all ages!
The tropical dive shops will provide SCUBA diving outings where you can see beautiful sights of Oahu's stunning sea floors. The hundreds of tropical fish that abound are bright and majestic to see. A educated instructor will be at each one, so your safety is all but secured. For the less ambitious individual, snorkel diving is a fantastic means to view Oahu's marine sights without having to dive deep. Other exquisite sports that Oahu is known for are para-sailing, sky diving, and surfing the waves.
Though it may not be the most typical activity to do on your vacation to Hawaii, Oahu offers shopping selections that cater to just about everyone. Several-story malls abound with stores such as Cartier, Tiffany, Nordstrom, Sacks, and Macy's. While you're there, just make sure not to overdo it! You can only pack so many items in your carry-on.
Don't forget about the Pearl Harbor and U.S.S. Arizona museums! These are great places to not only see lots of artifacts, but also to get a history lesson while you're there.
